Revisit to Jiufen 九份 (27.10.12)

After visiting the attractions at Jinguashi, we took the bus and headed down to Jiufen. Jiufen old street was super crowded as it was a Saturday. I shall not visit Jiufen again on a weekend!

Must see attraction. This is the tea house rumored to be the inspiration for the tea house in "Spirited Away"

Besides trying out 粉圆 and other famous snacks, I visited an attraction I didn't go the other time, 昇平戲院。It is an old cinema which was quite popular decades ago but has now become an artifact of history. The whole place gives off a sense of history and showcases what cinemas were like in the past.
