Keelung Miaokou Night Market 基隆庙口夜市 (26.10.12)

After leaving Ho Ping Island Hi Park, we headed straight for our next destination, Miaokou Night Market. Miaokou night market is one of the most organized night markets I ever saw in Taiwan. Stalls neatly in two rows, uniform arrangement of shop titles, it was quite surreal for a while. I have been used to see slightly messy stalls which comes in different shapes and sizes.

Miaokou or 庙口 means at the entrance of a temple. Keelung Miaokou night market was formed because of a temple.

The temple. Situated in the middle of the night market.

After trying out the snacks and dinner at the night market, we left for Keelung train station. You can walk to the night market from the train station and vice versa. On our way back, we saw the beautiful Keelung harbour.

The harbour is lit up at night
